Long Grove is a charming village with a rich history dating back to to the 1830's. Spread out over 18 square miles the population is around 7000 (6735 per 2000 Census). There is lots to love about Long Grove. It has a charming downtown with over 100 shops. There is Long Grove's well known covered bridge leading to one of the entrances to Long Grove. You can see a picture of it on the upper left corner of every page with my name and phone number. Long Grove has many festivals and events throughout the year.
Houses are nestled on mostly one to three acre lots. Open space is a priority in the village. Home prices start in the $500,000's and go well into the millions. Long Grove is only 33 miles from downtown Chicago and 23 miles from O'Hare and is close to several commuter train stations as well as major roads.
